Wow! That is scary. Why don’t the manufactures start making booms that have reinforced 1st & 2^nd that can pick up a couple thousand lbs? You could put a proper eyelet on the end of the #2. The boom could also be a picker. Probably be too heavy, and too expensive or maybe not. The finishers would love it. You could make more money with the truck.

Are people really that dumb? Or is it they just dont know any better. I guess thats why anytime you buy a used pump, i would be wise to get a inspection. Especially after seeing videos of things like this. You never know what someone before you has done to the pump. I would assume if any damage was done, a inspection by someone qualified would be found.
