I just installed a new 1502 Hypro water pump on my Swing. I never adjusted my pressure regulator just swapped pumps and when I rev the engine gotta really hold on to the nozzle. I screwed the pressure adjuster all the way in and all the way out but it doesn't change anything. The old pump put out the same volume all the way rev up as the new one does at idle. Could too much pressure harm anything? Tough on the hyd motor running the water pump. Cleans off the crete like crazy but boy do I run otta water quick

what kind of schwing you have ?

i used to have a 1500 roller on mine way too much gallons/min of water , when it rusted out i put on a 7560 roller 1/3 as much gallons/min and double the psi

on our schwings we do not rev the motor while washing do to too much pressure try washing at a idle it will save your water hose.

those Hypro pumps are not made to continously run 150psi, that is what the pressure washer is for...; water pressure should be around 60-80psi; depending on what hyd. control you have, with Apitech hand valve, you only get so much oil to the hyd. motor, wether you run at idle or max rpm

Stuck relief valve

Pull your adjustment bolt out and clean the port out. Probably the problem unless the return hose is plugged. Just an opinion, I would stay at idle and just adjust the pressure to what you want, rev don't make washout any faster and it will just give you a headache listening to it. (just my opinion)
