Well I've been having quite a time with the remotes lately.  Couple weeks ago the hot wire that had been run back to the control panel shorted out in the midle of a pour and went up in smoke, jumped a nother hot wire to it and no problem back up and running.  Ran a new wire to panel (threaded it through a piece of air hose so it wont short for a longgg time.

   Now wireless works  when it wants, some times links rite-away sometimes wont link at all. I may have to use hardline and keep trying till it wants to work. grounds seem ok.

  Now the stranger part. The hardline. Friday went to hook it up and it was sparking lightly (hot wire has 20 amp fuse) but not enough to blow fuse. the wiring in that box behind control panel where hard-line is pluged in (and wireless also go's) gets hot as well as the plug for the hardline.   Im serching for a short but damn so many connection in so small a area and swing used non-insulated connecters. already found some wireing that got hot enough to melt the rubber and replaced wire. 

  Any suggestions, trying to get straightened out before I go on vacation Tuesday and leave a greamlin to pop up and frustrate the fellow kind enough to fill in for me.    Dont find it vacation may be off...  cant afford to have it screw up and get parked till I get back..

I think your best bet at this time would be a call to schwing service dept. I don't know what pump your running but jumping wires and melting wirers could to lead to big bucks replacing circuit boards and so on. just my two cents.

OK cleaned omnex remote seems ok, we'll see if it acts up again. The wires getting hot occures when hardline remote is connected, the remote is marked 24v (again this is corded  remote) Im only feeding the systems 12v. The Manual for the truck shows the breakdown of the junction box and it shows relays as 12v. Will talk to Schwings electrical guy again next week,  maybe  box being 24v is trying to draw to much current? Havent needed to use hardline till now so who knows.

Removed reciever and sent remote and reciever to schwing.  We'llsee what the bill is..
