I love the videos but I have a real suck internet connection & I live in the sticks where there is no rush to improve my service.

The safest tip hose deal is:

A 4' hose with a 10' pipe attached to it covered with 2" foam cover.

NO WHIP POSSIBLE and it is easy for the hose man to move because the pipe is rigid and weighs much less than a hose.

It is also way cheaper to pump thru.

For people that like tip hoses the Putz anti whip hose is safe, but expensive. IMHO ;~)

You know what, I think that hose is great, dont know what it cost? but I cant even get anyone from Putz to return my phone calls. At least when I call Schwing, Reed, PumpStar Concord, Alliance, Cifa, KCP and the others they return my phone calls. I think there is something to be said for service. I think a good test of a company for this industry is to make a call and leave a message for the president of the company and see how long it takes to get a call back. That is one of the things I have always loved about Schwing and the other companies that sponsor this site they are people orientated. I love that about our sponsors. I hope all those who are looking at buying a new pump really consider what I am talking about.

use a fake name and tell them you want to buy a pump. The phone won't stop ringing. Perhaps they don't like you???

I dreaded having to call putz parts department back when we had a putz......put you on hold forever, not call ya back, make you feel like a burden to them....and I agree with Todd, the others WANT your business.  When I compare part prices I call or email Reed, Concord, Alliance, Pumpstar (everyone on the right side of this page).....and they always respond.  I also have a personal field rep that I can call anytime, sometimes I call him just to see if he answers prior to the beginning of a big pour outside of my support base....it makes ya feel good when your hours away from your shop and by yourself, but you got someone available 24/7.  For someone like me, who is sometimes mechanically challenged that's great!

looks like the hose is tied to the box to me. If the pump man is doing his job and being focused you dont need gimmicks like that. End of story.

it's not always the pump mans fault what goes in the hopper...as regards the sh hose we at pochins do not use any other while doing off the boom jobs and the hose's are brill.. there lighter to carry and no harder to wash out either..
