S valve, rock, Over the years the manufacturers have come up with all sorts so how many different valve/pumping systems are there?

S-tubes and rocks and ball-check valves have proven themselves to be the winners.

Some of the loosers were:

plug valves - rotating ball valves - sliding box valves - gates & spades - flappers - univalves......... man o man, there were some real Rube Goldberg valves out there.

are you serious bob slidegates are so smooth and they get it on and the amount of non kick that you have from a gate to a s valve or a dual rock valve and how harsh of a mix they can pump slide gates all the way thats my thought

kickingis fixable for any later model pump no matter what valve system you have , run a second proximety with a different ramping pattern on it !
