as you can see from the zero replies, maintenance is for most operations a cost factor. this is mainly contributed to the fact, that a pump does not make money when it is in the shop for repair or maintenance. I have seen it too many times, operators (good or bad) are the daily heroes and the mechanics get to pick up the pieces or whatever is left of it.
