Next Monday a challenge between a putz and a schwing 1200 m³ bridge deck whit a harsh mix. Last poor of 300 m³ a rookie on a 42m putz had trouble pumping it. His problem was he had never learnt to listen to his machine and did all on EOC and EBC.

the concrete is a C53/65 XF4. they upgraded him from a f4 to a f5 for the pumpability I heard today from the placing crew foreman

The schwing won because of the bigger barrels of that unit. The problem with the mix was the pressure build up with the change of stroke. The schwing made less strokes on the same volume. The max output on the pumps was about 60/70 m³ an hour at an oil pressure of 200. We used 600 liter of fuel for 1150m³. rookie used 300 liter on 300m³
