Wow,that sucks.Now 2 of us have that t-shirt "been there done that".I like to call those equalizers driveline breakers in the mud.

I know a guy who were stuck in the mud...he use the boom to push his 39 ton heavy Putzmeister M42 to solid ground. The boom look like a banana after that problemsolving. His employer wasn´t so happy about it. Section 3 and 4 of the boom were just bended metaljunk and it was not so cheap to replace them. So.. never use the boom to solve problem in the mud.  

we have that tire boss on our 61 but i think i was installed by schwing new but it seems like it would be handy in situations

leave it the hill billys to have all the fun...my dad says they are a bunch of good guys
