Important Update for Concrete Pumpers I just got word from a very solid source: NBIS will no longer be insuring or renewing concrete pumping companies with over $3 million a year in revenue. This is going to shake up the industry, and if you’re affected — don’t wait around. Here are a few things you need to get on top of ASAP: Need a reliable insurance contact? Call Matt at McGriff Insurance – 281-794-7747. He’s saved a bunch of my customers a lot of money, and I trust him 100%. |

Like so many things. All the videos posted all over the Internet of pumps tipped over etc. are making it seem like it's happening more and more often. When that's not necessarily the case. There just weren't so many videos of it available. |

Concrete Pumping company's are their own self worst enemies always have been. The only thing that will fix runaway cost are a lot of pump company's have to fail ! I mean a lot 1/3 of the current company's must fail in order for this industry to survive. their are too many pumps too many un qualified operators and owners who are more interested in taking every job on the table. |

While its true that insurance carriers track losses, the videos of pumps burning or tipping over and headlines about hitting school busses certainly affects the sentiment surrounding the industry. Underwriters hear and read about concrete pumping and are reluctant to step up. This industry needs positive change whether it comes from regulation or through necessity to get insured. |
