I have been insuring concrete pump companies around the country for 15 years and have seen my share of accidents. The most dangerous thing we do every day as concrete pumpers is drive over the road. 

From my understanding, Collision Avoidance Technology is not mandated for vocational vehicles and is not widely adopted on most concrete pumps.

With insurance for the pump industry becoming increasingly difficult, wouldn't the industry benefit from mandatory Collision Avoidance Technology in all boom pumps?
