The first Telebelt TB 200 is ready for testing.  200' (61m) reach with 24" (610mm) belts.  Carrier is from Liebherr LTM 1220-5.2 220 Ton (metric ton) crane.

I need to clear up some confusion.

The TB 200-24 is not a daily rental fleet machine. It cannot be driven on regular highways, only on on-site haul roads.

It's designed to be assembled, on site, for use on dams and other mass-concrete jobs. The counterweights, alone, weigh over 31 tons.

The carrier and lower turntable could be put on the road, with permits. The rest would arrive in 4 or 5 containers and take a few days to assemble.

Just the thing, if you have a few million meters of concrete to place in the next couple years.

I was gonna say.  I thought my turning radius in the 550 was huge.  That is one sweet machine though.

Goose.  With all-wheel steer, inside turning radius is 6.9 meters - 22'8".  Outside (boom tip) radius in the turn is 24.8 meters - 81'4".

Well, it isn't PhotoShopped.  I've got plenty of pictures and video from the load tests.  Of course, if you don't believe me, fly to Stutgart, cab it to Aichtal and see for yourself.

Hey Don, What a monster! Are most of the mechanicals the same on the Telebelt, just supersized? How does the thing handle?

It's all bigger, but some things are the same.  The telescope drives are the same, just two of them.  HBC radio is similar, teachable and smooth.  The opening through the transfer is huge, even at 30 degrees.

Driving it, in site-mode, is unbelievable.  Very stable.  Many options for steering and three braking systems.  During brake test, they stopped and re-started on a 15% grade.

This shows the size of the transfer opening, with the boom at 30 degrees.
