Still going strong! But there have been so unbelievably many changes.

We are soon starting on light weight concrete. My idea was to pump it first 450meters to the island where one of the towers is standing and then pump straight in to a second pump which will then pump it 60meters up and 200m out on the bridge both ways. I wanted to do a full scale test to see if it was possible but now the mannagement has decided the risks are to big. Light weight is strange stuff. So the new plan is to bring in the concrete by boat, lift it up on the bridge by crane and then pump it a few hundret meters max. That made our life A LOT easier but I think its a shame we never tried our option.

The other side of the fjord is a shorter line up to 300meters. There we wil be pumping all the way for now.

By the end of this year this bridge wil be ready and we will possibly have 3 more pumps for sale and loads of other equipment.

Or we might get another job where we can use the equipment. That would be the best ofcourse Wink

whats up with the three hoses coming off the pump into your line? never seen anything like that.

Thats a serious system for waterwashing the pipeline. That pump is the washout/back-up pump. There are check-valves between the hoses so the water cant go back in to the hopper. We waterwash gigantic lines with that system.
