Thats it ,I am sick of this shit.If you own a pump like this,61,as an owner you are responsible for providing this operator proper dunnage to set up this machine     period.Should have his ass put in jail, the owner that is.     So the thought of being able to land a 747 on a dirt runway is not a reality.  Man,just send a pump out with no pipe on the boom, same stupidity to me.

Maybe the Dunnage was there but the Operator cut corners. I wonder.

If they know there is a 61M is going to be pumping off the side in that. Beautiful Machine. Just tough to understand. Maybe need to require compaction test on the ground before the outriggers go down...???

There is no excuse for this.

this is operator error...comes down to experience....in the U.S. you find alot of times utilities are buried right along the road right where the outriggers are set in this photo....3 feet over he would have been on pavement which would have been compacted underneath.... I see alot of companies here put guys on bigger booms that got no reason to runnin them yet....what use to take years of experience to even move up to a 36 now they got guys with 2 years runnin 61's.... got kicked off a job once cause i refused to set up the way the superintendent wanted me to...eventually set up the way needed and did job but never went back....ACPA needs to update requirements or change them... and damn update the videos... seriously

I have been on jobs where it just was not safe for me to set up a big boom , sometimes we have to just say no , and if you are not comfortable and secure in your employers willingness to stand behind you , these things happen , management needs to step up and check these jobs out and make the contractor supply mats or send a extra truck with dunnage to hold these big booms up , until we start putting regulations on these big booms as a industry and make it policy on mat size and dunnage , we can just expect seeing more pictures of big booms on the ground.

I heard nobody was hurt, fortunately!
Only the operator's pride...
