Todd,I need an honest answer,Why aren't you operating a pump truck?I think you would want something better for your son than these ball busting machines.........

Ok Honest answer. I love concrete pumping, i loved the hard jobs, the jobs nobody else could do. I loved managing and helping people grow in their trade. I got out of concrete pumping because I could make more money doing something else. I got into programing and did some ground braking work for the acoustical ceiling industry. Then I took all that i learned about automation in processes and applied it to the Concrete Pumping industry "Pump Magic" and created ConcretePumping.com to promote it. That was 18 years or so ago. We are now on Pump Magic 3.0 and I now know and work with all the big boys in this industry. I just love this industry and stop and see every pump I can.  I also love to share with my sho just how cool concrete pumps are.

It is better to drive an old truck and eat chicken for diner and enjoy your work then it is to drive a Corvete and eat steak and hate your job. There is no shame in being a Concrete Pumper, in fact I love those guys.

these are ball busting machines , but in 25 years I've never missed a weeks pay , this industry has put a roof over my families head and food on the table , I have worked my ass off but I have also been rewarded with the ability to put my kids thru catholic schooling and my oldest is in her second year of college, I have met some of my best friends in this industry , and some great people , some still here some have left us , I feel priviledged to say I am in the concrete pump industry and had the guts , work ethic and fortitude to stay in it this long , stop hating the career you chose and embrace it , nothing wrong with our kids working hard for a dollar.
