CRS Clamps - Different from the Crowd

I have been pumping concrete for the past 11 years, and have been using CRS clamps for the last 4 years. They have done the job right every time.

-Gilles, Lafarge Canada

CRS clamps save a lot of busted knuckles. I prefer the large hand opening and the way they fit the pipe with the machined bore. I have bought many of their clamps, gaskets, elbows, and boom pipe over the past few years and have always been satisfied.

-Carlton, Diversified Concrete Pumping

CRS would appreciate it if you would consider us for your next concrete pump parts purchase. Please shop with confidence and know we will do our very best to work with you every day.

That's what makes "CRS Clamps Different from the Crowd". We have sold hundreds of these clamps in North and South America over the past four years and have not had one complaint to date. Give them a try. crspumpparts.com

These clamps do suck. And selling hundreds doesn't really make the case for you guys. If you had sold thousands, then you might have a good product. My opinion.

Come on guys be nice. I have tried these kind of clamps to and there are also advantages. Hard to open means you have them to tight. You can adjust it yourself. Not saying they are my favourite but they are not that bad eighter..

It is a little sad when someone complains about a clamp they have never used but used one like it? Try one of their clamps before you complain about it. These are not just copies of another clamp they are a different company differant clamp.

Have you used their product? Have you used one of their clamps?

Are these made in China, Korea ? Made of substandard alloys ? Just asking , I would warn anyone not to use clamps thats made of these materials , I have personally seen the sides peel rite off under pressure , very unsafe , a few dollars could cost you thousands , if they are made of high quality steel , I wouldn't have a problem trying them.

Let's cut to the chase, there are very few if any clamps, gaskets or reducers made in Australia. Most crapola sold here comes from China ... however, there are several companies selling top quality forged steel ACME clamps from Italy. A few off supplies come from Korea. There is good quality Goodyear hose made in Canada sold here as well as hose made in Europe.

I do believe by Federal Law in the USA ... if a produce is made fully in the USA it does not require being marked with the Country of origin, all other products must state the Country of Origin. To solve the birth place of all CRS products ... would the company CSR be willing to mark their products according to Federal Law by placing a label showing the Country of Origin.

If they nominate Australia ... then watch the lawyers come out to play.

I once purchased a couple 90s from one the site sponsors. And on it was a nice shinny sticker that said proudly made in the USA  under the sticker stamped in the metal it said made in China. WTF ?.

I don't want to dog on your business...but..

The reason why these clamps "suck" is because they are unsafe!!!

They are threaded and can become loose no one should use these ever! Also just like any bolt they will stretch.

Plus it doesn't take long before the threads have concrete on them and the clamp handle won't swivel to adjust, in a pinch or just being lazy a guy might have to use it when it's a little too loose.

Please don't build or sell adjustable clamps

Btw I had one blow up like a grenade and hit me in the head because it was loose under pressure, my ear thanks you!

There is nothing wrong with adjustable clamps. Conform and Acme both have adjustable clamps.

We have samples of the CRS adjustable clamps, direct from the Chinese source. I did notice thay have plastic tube over the exposed thread to eliminate concrete building up on the thread ... thus stoping adjustment as you suggest.

The biggest problem CRS has is he is maybe not aware of the actual source, but hard to believe and the clamps are

or can be suspect castings in grey iron or steel. Credibility and truth in business are CRS problem.

I wasn't picking on them specifically... but I disagree, adjustable clamps are unsafe made by anyone
