hey k so im trying to figure out wats going on with my drive tires i have unusal wearing on the drives seems like the inside tires wear uneven cupping. they just go all wanky until i have to change them out before they blow up. is this an aliment problem or is it due to the fact that these tires are under constant load

I used to drive a 97 and now a 2014 Mack, both of those trucks did the same thing. As pump finish said, just the nature of the beast.  One note, we tend to have them rotated every couple months, seems to help even out the wear and help them last a little longer.

yeah mine too, the tire guys say i'm not running enough pressure it should be around 110 psi.

I have better luck with a Closed Shoulder tire vs open shoulder.

Bridgestone HAD made a T819 that they quit making totally eliminated the problem.

I'm sure there are others out threre.

I've tried everything 110 psi cold , 100 psi cold , rotating you name it , the only solution I have found is running highway tread tires , this works , and you get a lot more mileage on your tires , and we are in the swamp , and the tread on a tire of a 56k+ vehicle really makes little to no difference , if you're stuck , you're stuck , we run continental road tires and have gotten better longevity out of the highway tires and a better ride.

Turning corners and tire scrub.

You got to remember concrete pumps are "ALWAYS" fully loaded much of them are on the limit of tyres and axles. If you guys are showing uneven wear you should try tyres with a same size (or even a size higher or wider if a available) but with a higher load index than your current ones?

They may be more expensive but will last much much longer for this kind of application.

We always use a highway tread on our pumps, they wear a lot better then the off road tires. We always have the manufacture change them out for the tires we want when buying new pumps
