like all of us pump guys and gals we have done this once or twice but after the 2nd time the leson has been learned first thing is first get a fork lift and hang the hose start from the tip and work ya way up seem like no luck get the 8 lbs sleg and start beating it... sorry that happen but it happens to the best of us but its some thing we all dealt with for sure

Yeah, first time for everything. I rented a jackhammer and got 2 old bits given to me. I welded a piece of angle iron on it and it's working like a charm. It was actually a new guy on the job and he let it set up in 275' of 25' hoses and the hopper.I was too embarassed to print the whole story lol.But I found a good fix for it that can be passed along. I will post pics of my invention later on this afternoon.

I forgot to mention that after i beat it I rinse and tap out on the ground all I can, then blow the rest out with air.

Make a blowout cap for your pressure washer. Make sure you tie down the hose thou.

If you unhook a hose alway have someone roll it and get most of it out if it had set one night in the morning its still green, I lost 2 -25 footers we were pumping in a mud hole very wet ground got plugged and the finishers would not help get it out,  thats another good reason I sold my business. for the new guys that one good leason.

Just remember that running over the hose or smashing it can damage the reinforcement of the hose. The hose may not structurally sound to withstand the maximum pressure of the pump. If you do any of this, a good inspection of it needs to take place to make sure you didn't damage it during the clean out.
