With more than 44 years of experience in the concrete pumping and construction industries, J. Matt McDonald is a nationally recognized expert in concrete pumping operations, construction logistics, safety management, equipment utilization, and executive leadership. Throughout his career, he has directed complex pumping operations, developed industry best practices, managed large equipment fleets, and supported major commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.

As President and General Manager of Blanchet Concrete Pumping, LLC, Mr. McDonald led the company's growth from two locations operating 16 concrete pumps to seven locations with a fleet of 75 pumps serving Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. His responsibilities included strategic planning, operational leadership, fleet administration, safety management, project logistics, personnel development, and business growth.

Mr. McDonald possesses extensive expertise in evaluating concrete pumping operations, equipment deployment, operator performance, jobsite safety practices, maintenance programs, and compliance with industry standards. He regularly provides consulting services involving construction operations, risk management, project planning, claims evaluation, and dispute resolution.

Over the course of his career, Mr. McDonald has contributed to some of the Mid-Atlantic region's most significant construction projects, including the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, the Pentagon Phoenix Reconstruction Project, the United States Coast Guard Headquarters Building at St. Elizabeth’s, and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Replacement Project.

Mr. McDonald is the recipient of the American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA) Pioneer Award, one of the industry's highest honors, recognizing his longstanding contributions to advancing concrete pumping technology, operational excellence, safety practices, and professional standards. He continues to support industry advancement through professional leadership, committee participation, and consulting services.
