i know that line pumps are for the beginners and they arent as cool as booms but they are a part of concrete pumping industry. many guys that line pump are the guys that are new to the industry of concrete pumping and line pumping is where you learn the basics of concrete pumping before you get on a boom. the safety,problem solving,good advise from experienced people from industry is just as if not more important as for boom operators.

line pumping is where most get their start and first experience. this being the case you think there would be more information for the line pumpers. advise,safety advise,problem solving issues,etc
