Kentucky welcomes HBC-radiomatic to the Bluegrass state.

The German-based radio control company has decided to move its North American headquarters to Hebron, Ky., where it will join the ranks of 160 international companies.


HBC-radiomatic specializes in radio controls used for construction equipment such as concrete pumps and industrial applications like tower cranes.

The new 12,000-square-foot facility will house the North American production and distribution center.

"HBC-radiomatic will bring important, new high-tech job opportunities to the region," said Gary Moore, Boone County Judge-Executive.


"Northern Kentucky has demonstrated that it has the workforce and technology infrastructure necessary to acctract high-tech firms and jobs to the region," said John Hindman, secretary for the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.


The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has approved a $54,050 tax refund for construction materials and building fixtures.

Unit Building Serves has been chosen to construct the new facility, 13 miles southwest of Cincinnati.
