Ed Lothamer (Edward Dewey Lothamer) was born on May 20, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at Redford (Detroit, MI), Lothamer attended Michigan State University. Lothamer made his professional debut in the AFL in 1964 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in the AFL for 6 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time. Lothamer also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time.

In the mid-1970s, Lothamer got back into construction, starting a successful concrete pumping business. At one point the company had more than 200 employees in nine cities. Lothamer is still going strong and we all wish him the best.
